Our Chef Alex Firman
Alex is a serious and seasoned chef and produces dishes to match. He specialises in curating menus packed with flavour using seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce from suppliers such as Marsh Pig, Fen Farm Dairy and Sunday Charcuterie.
Alex has over 35 years' cheffing experience and has worked in many renowned restaurants locally and nationally. He also runs the Garden Kitchen Café on the Hoveton Hall Estate, and a catering business for film and photo location-shoots and weddings.

Walk-In Small Plates
The kitchen is open Wed to Sun 12 to 2.30pm for pre-booked set lunches or walk-in small plates.
Our curated menu includes a selection of tapas-style small plates such as salt beef with honey mustard; Norfolk Dapple with chutney and crackers; potted Norfolk pork with pickles, orange and fennel olives.
Enjoy in our traditional Norfolk barn, or head to the garden for views over the Waveney Valley.
