Tractor Driver / Vineyard Assistant

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable, skilled, and passionate individual to join our team in a dual role combining tractor operations and vineyard work.
The Role
We are seeking a full-time Tractor Driver & Vineyard Assistant to support all aspects of vineyard operations throughout the growing season and beyond. The ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced tractor operator with a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in viticulture.
Key Responsibilities
Tractor Operations:
- Operating tractors for mowing, spraying, trimming, mulching, and other tasks
- Performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on machinery
- Ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment across varied terrain
- Assisting with setup and operation of specialised vineyard equipment
Vineyard Work:
- Pruning and tying down
- Wire moving and canopy management
- Harvest preparation and grape picking
- General vineyard upkeep and manual labour as required
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in tractor driving in an agricultural or vineyard setting
- Comfortable working with modern vineyard machinery
- A strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to safely lift 20kg.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- PA1, PA2, and PA3 spray certificates (highly desirable)
- Experience working in a vineyard or similar environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to carry out machinery checks and repairs
