Description
Made from some the best Chardonnay fruit we've ever seen, picked in 2022 by hand from Martin's Lane in the Crouch Valley, Essex.
It was a hot, dry year, so yields were low, but ripeness was exceptional.
Whole-bunch pressed and only the 'heart' of the free run used, the juice was then fermented in new French oak barrels. Following fermentation the wine was matured in barrel for 18 months, with around 50% seeing weekly bâtonnage.
The wine was bottled in March 2024 without fining or filtration.
Reserve six bottles now, with delivery in September 2024, following a further six months of ageing in bottle.

Technical information
The cost of delivery quoted includes delivery by courier to GB Mainland addresses (excluding Scottish Highlands). For other destinations a surcharge will apply. Standard delivery charges are £9.60 for orders under £100 and free for orders greater than £100.
All wines or goods ordered remain the property of Flint Vineyard until payment is received in full.
